Taste of Suffolk
Suffolk recently celebrated the 12th annual Taste of Suffolk Street Festival. Parts of Washington and Main Streets were closed off to traffic, allowing food tents, vendors and local businesses to set up along the streets. Washington Street was dedicated to children's activities with games, bounce houses, crafts and other amusements. Suffolk's Prime Arts, Retail and Culinary Initiative (SPARC) set up a variety of interactive art stations, and the Master Gardeners were on hand to sell plants and answer questions. Music was provided by Paul Urban, Soul Intent and Wesley Spangler.
